I mean I am not claiming to be an expert on computers I only took 1 year of computer science (was going for a bachelor's degree but dropped out due to financial issues) & 2 years of messing around with linux lol.
Even if it means having to learn something new or doing something I never did before. Though can admit I do get way over my head sometimes though I just want to try & help people the best I can in all honesty.
So figured since he said it worked in v56 maybe it was possible to fix & a possible way to get working again in v57 in all honesty but probably not/stopped working do to the new graphics stack truthfully. Then don't know much about touchscreens in all honesty, not even for phones or tablets. Yeah I know cloudready is still new (only been around 2 starting to go into 3 years in all honesty) I have been using cloudready since v47 So there is a chance that maybe the touchscreen can be fixed & recommend waiting for official dev support on the touchscreen but the touchpad sadly not at this Joseph Sadly there is no other solution at the moment then going back to v56.Įdit: For the touchscreen no idea if that is related to the new graphics stack as well.

If you do go back to v56 recommend reading this post on how to disable updates until touchpads are working again
Only advice is to stick with v56 until the devs are able to support & fix the issues with the touchpads. No Idea how a graphics stack could affect something like a touchpad but assumeing it ties into hardware compatibility as well. The latest update is using a new graphics stack which affects the touchpad somehow.
